CASA of San Benito County - Volunteer Opportunity!

Abused, neglected and abandoned children in San Benito County need your help. The newly established CASA of San Benito County is recruiting volunteers. A CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) volunteer can be someone like you - a caring adult, willing to devote some time and energy to learn how to become an advocate and to then look out for the best interest of an abused child. The advocate is often the ONLY adult who is a constant presence in the life of an abused child. CASA of San Benito County will fully train and supervise volunteers like you to be the voice for these children.
To learn more about the new CASA program, attend an information session on at 6pm on Dec. 6, 2007. This meeting will be held at the San Benito Chamber of Commerce at 650 San Benito Street. Learn more by visiting the website at www.casasanbenito.org.
While you cannot control where abused children come from, you can have something to do with where they end up. There are many children in San Benito County dependency system who need a voice. Won’t you lend them yours?
